We can recommend restaurants, wineries to visit and sites of historical interest and natural beauty. The cottage is within easy distance of Montepulciano, Pienza, Montefollonico, Cortona, to name a few of the ancient hilltop towns of this area. Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia, Florence and Rome can all be visited within the day. The mainline train station is about 20 kms distant.

Cooking Classes

Learn to cook real Tuscan food with each stage of the preparation demonstrated by a local chef. Book in advance for a minimum of two people. Prices and more information on request.

Truffle Hunting

Join in this immensely popular ramble through the woods accompanied by a local expert and bilingual guide. Bookings for a minimum of 2 people should be made in advance and are subject to weather conditions.

Photography Workshops

Enjoy an unforgettable day with acclaimed photographer Alfredo Falvo, visiting little known corners of Tuscany while improving your skills under expert guidance. Advance booking is required.

Outdoor Activities

Electric bikes can be hired locally and are an excellent way to get to know the breathtaking scenery of this region. There are several hot springs nearby, all known since ancient Roman times, visitors can spend the day in one of the well-equipped swimming pools or bond with nature in the woods.

Fast, reliable wifi and central heating throughout the cottage. Air-conditioning in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs living area.

The outdoor patio includes table and chairs for up to 6, a barbecue is available and deck chairs and pool towels are provided.

A high chair for small children and children’s cots are provided on request and are free of charge.

Other facilities include a hair-dryer and use of the owner’s washing machine and iron on request. All bath and bed linen is provided and pets are considered –
